Some suggestions for what to keep in the car in case of getting stuck. The goal is to be, if not comfortable, at least not in a life threatening situation. Usual suggestions are a some food, some water, a blanket/sleeping bag, a change of warm clothes, a roll of tp, and a small first aid bag. I also keep an _empty_ 2.5 gallon gas can, a headlamp, and an army entrenching tool (folding shovel).
