Yes I know all the biblical literature on it, and I’ll be upfront that those verses are ones that never made sense to me either, but in practical terms, how does that even apply in a society where we separate religion from government?

What are people honestly afraid of? Legions of Gay men will what? Be better cooks than you? Have better style?

Of course I agree, but when it comes to party affiliation, the vast majority of these two groups (gays and African Americans as well as Hispanics) are Democrats because they find support in my party.

Democrats do not want larger government either. They don’t want the government intruding on their personal lives. But because we support social programs that are meant to be AVAILABLE as a resource should you need it, we are looked at as the party of too much government. It’s really not a fair observation.
