I’d like to hear his reasoning. TBH, I don’t have a problem with a civilian in charge. Never served, so maybe it’s a military thing. And, ftr, my grandfather (RIP), a vet of the Battle of the Bulge, received excellent care at VA hospitals in Texas - that was a few years ago, though.
