And while we’re on the subject of olives, how come when it comes to olives on a pizza, it’s usually black olives and not green olives?

I’m not an olive fan, but I have friends and family who are, and whenever we get a pizza w/olives, they’re always black…..

Cheaper? I dunno, but when I make pizza, I use Kalmatas with goat cheese. Black olives (unless oil cured black olives) just don’t have enough flavor for pizza.
