No, it won’t, because nobody will give them credit for it. The GOP aren’t going to suddenly mend their ways, the media will just rerun the same “Dems in Disarray” headlines, and the only reason voters will remember it in a year is when Franken’s replacement runs to serve out the remaining 2 years of his term and the media remind voters that that’s only because Franken was revealed as a “sexual predator” and forced to resign.

It’s really a lot easier not to have any principles.
