The IRS gets to take $450,000.45.
Leaving you $550,000.55.
That's just the Fed tax.
I think you need to check on that calculation, Gus. It's my understanding the 45% figure applies only to income over $1,000,000. Your first million is taxed at a lower rate. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
