Why does the GOP assign the most inept legislators to very important committee positions? That alone should be proof that the GOP is not serious about working towards a better USA.

I think my usual term of Whackos is going to have to have a sub-grouping of “Rapturists”.

They seem to be strategically placing Rapturists where they think it is necessary. Scary shit, IMHO.
