The Iranian’s have always believed Bush was an aberation from the weak and feckless American leadership they expect. Their strategy was to wait him out till the Democrats were back in power. Now they have their wish.

Obama can talk all the pretty speeches he wants, but these things will happen on his watch:

No amount of “robust diplomacy” will change any of that.

Same as Clinton. Clinton would always get on TV and promise the country he’d hunt down and get those responsible for (fill in the blank) and then would never follow through. It would just be flushed down the memory hole. That’s what this whole presidency will be about - saying one thing and doing nothing to protect us and everything to dismantle our protections.
