I just don’t see how tax cuts + military increases = balanced budget. Even the supposed Medicare savings won’t come close to doing the trick.

Most of the money for DoD is to until the sequester from the super-committee’s inability to agree. The DoD has said clearly that it needs the money the sequester would cut.
