Hoffman got more votes in that district than other GOPers have? Not in the slightest. In the last 3 way vote in the district (2000) Bohlert won 120k+ votes. The conservative running, Vickers, got 42k. McHugh never got below 100k in his election/reelections (2002, 2004, 2006, 2008).
