Good grief. Wingnut friend is pushing the bogus claim that the San Juan mayor is trying to make Turmp look bad by witholding supplies using the “call from a cop.”

Confirmation bias to calm cognitive dissonance. They’re uncomfortable with how poorly the Administration is responding to the devastation, and Trump’s petty bitching at Mayor Cruz. It is at odds with their need to believe he’s the greatest thing since sliced bread.

If someone offers a story, however thinly sourced, that diminishes the cognitive dissonance, they believe it.
