And I believe I’ve already identified the Emperor in question. It’s Constantine II, right? At first I thought it might be Gratian, but the reverse has the double soldiers and standards and the GLORIA EXERCITUS motto, which seems to have been reserved exclusively for C. II…

Or am I way off the mark?

I have no idea. Like I said in my email, I didn’t bother to attribute it, just pulled it from a pile and put it in the package. But, you are probably right (or close), since that coin came from a batch of Constantine era coins. It’s not Gratian.
