Pfft. Who needs facts? Didn’t you know that threatening to cut a single dollar from the military, or retiring old/obsolete equipment or killing bloated projects that even the Pentagon doesn’t want means that you hate America?

I prefer facts, they’re all I have, and neither side is guiltless in this area. The F-111 is my favorite (historical) pork program because it had a record 4000+ sub-contractors. This literally brought it very close to the ideal pork goal of having a contractor in every Congressional district. It turned out to be a decent enough aircraft, but its development was excruciatingly long and costly.
