This doesn’t surprise me at all. When I lived in NYC there was a public access channel on Time-Warner cable that carried a weekly program by a Kahanist/JDF type guy. It was pretty disgusting.

NYC has a little bit of everything, and keep in mind that Kahane was from Brooklyn. Some of the seriously radical Islamist preachers were there too (they might still be, though I imagine they’re more cautious these days).
