If that’s an accurate quote then I think Carson just showed how completely ignorant he is outside of his medical specialty.

As a reminder, Germany murdered more than 6 million Jews, most of whom lived in countries like Belgium, Netherlands, France, Poland and Russia, which were defended by entire armies with guns, planes, tanks, and yet folded ahead of the Nazi advances.

Out of the 6 million, only about 135k were Germans. The balance were in countries that Germany invaded with its military.

And does he seriously believe that those Germans Jews were going to rise up against Hitler, a guy who’d rode to power on a wave of resentment for those he’d claimed “stabbed Germany in the back”?
