Any way you try to parse that aforementioned statement, it works.

GOP is fucking math. GOP doesn’t understand math. GOP playing games with math.

It’s exasperating. Sessions and other GOPers (and their media enablers) are trying to make this about Democrats?

Democrats aren’t part of this process as the GOP keeps telling us about their control of Congress. They are in the minority in both House and Senate. They don’t have the numbers.

The GOP is running the shit show, and they’re showing anyone who cares that the GOP doesn’t care about governing or legislating. The GOP is only interested in tearing down government, gutting safety net programs and the entire social structure of government going back to the New Deal, all so that rich folks get bigger tax cuts.

Everyone else would get royally fucked, and Trump supporters are cheering loudest for this bullshit.

So, if the government shuts down (and brings the economic chaos that it did the last time Ted Cruz led a shutdown - then to kill Obamacare, now to build a wall the border states are realizing they don’t actually want), it’s entirely on the GOP.

It’s entirely on Trump, Ryan, and McConnell.

Oh, and just hours after Earth Day, Trump’s already aiming to gut national monument protections for areas that Obama preserved.

Trump made it clear that preservation and environmental protections aren’t important. Clean air/water aren’t important to him or his cronies

Why? Money. Trump thinks that mining/oil drilling will make more money that preserving these lands would (which isn’t actually true, since tourism to these preserved lands can generate more wealth for those local residents and areas than mining can).
