Mathematicians, in my experience, are more widely distributed in various beliefs than physicists.
Then again, math is not science, something over which various philosophy students can argue, but which is fairly well established as a precept among scientists.
Indeed, it is becoming clear that one of the failings of string theorists, M-theorists, multiverse-theorists, etc., is that they’ve gone astray by thinking their math is indeed physics.
