There is a related issue here in China, with lenders requiring clients to share nude photos of themselves holding their ID cards, so the lender can blackmail them into paying. The victims are usually college students. One of my former students told me she had asked a businessman to help her fund a video project, and he flat out told her “Only if you fuck me.” She refused those terms.

There is that famous ad-lib line from Kevin Spacey in House of Cards:

“Everything is about sex, Except sex itself. Sex is about power.”

Now we know how he was able to deliver it with such conviction…
