Why is it so hard to come up with a name that rolls off the tongue like “Watergate?”
A simpleton like Trump should be easy to sum up in a simple catchy phrase.
Trump may be a simpleton, but he’s blundered and bulldozed his way into SO MANY layers of corruption that it’s really kind of impossible to reduce it to one core event/place that the rest of it has grown out of. So place names basically don’t work, like most of the previous famous scandals. He IS the scandal.
