I’ve pointed it out before, but feel that it needs to be said again:

The idea of newspapers as ‘nonpartisan’ is a fairly recent concept. Historically in the U.S. newspapers were unabashedly partisan, strictly toeing the party line.

Google the number of newspapers with ‘Democrat’ as part of the name and also the number of newspapers with ‘Republican’ as part of the name and you’ll be surprised at the number of hits.

We are seeing a resurgence of partisan reporting, or at the very least the dropping of the nonpartisan mask.

Just be aware of the bias of your news outlet of choice.
