In the case of the Judge, and to a lesser extent Paul, they self-identify themselves as Libretarians. The Libretarians were hoping that Paul would be their nominee for President (again) and Rockwell advocated the Judge as his running mate.

I understand that, but mainstream libertarianism died a while back. That party has been mostly taken over by the whackos led by Rothbard/Rockwell.
