Screenshot with that article is from “Dishonored” excellent steam punk flavored stealthy assassin game. Funny they picked that one though, it is one of the few games that allows you to play through the entire thing without actually killing anyone yourself. Short game if you play-through like a “tank” but very challenging and time consuming if you try for maximum stealth.

More and more games are becoming like that, adding additional challenge through stealth or “pacifist” runs.
