Yeah. In a sane and rational world, Jones would never be ‘mainstreamed’. I showed a video of one Jones’ rants to my students not long ago, and one of them piped up “Why is this man not in a mental institution? He’s clearly insane.”

Because of Reagan probably. He put a lot of crazies back on the streets. My cynical side tends to believe it’s because mentally ill people are reliable Republican voters.
