I had a Mossberg 500 and a Mini-14 during the 1992 L.A. riots. Thank G-d I didn’t have to brandish — much less use — either one, but I like having a piece of heavier artillery to go with el pistola for such situations.

Hmm for some reason your mention of LA and Mini-14 made me think of the North Hollywood Shootout. I thought one of those guys had a Mini-14 modded to full auto but now I think that was just in the made for TV movie.
