Since you cannot exclude rich people from the legal system, the discussion is rather pointless. The only point worth discussing is what to do with the expenses, like the $600,000 you mentioned, in case the court case is found to be without merit. Since such was not the case in Gawker’s court case, there’s nothing further to discuss.

So, all those writers and publishers who are talking about the chilling effect of this are just being silly. I’m sure your opinion will be comforting to them.
