I don’t think we have to go so far as to select an entertainer. Trump promised a lot of people they’d get to go back to the old days of working with no skills, beating up on minorities, and not having to deal with icky people. They’re not going to get that back.

We just need to keep finding the best person from our side for the job. Part of that in 2020 will be telling people they need to understand that the future is not scary, but it will roll over you. And we can do that without undermining our base.
