So far, there’s no identification of what group this guy may have been involved with/in. He could have been a lone wolf, or a member of an organized terror group. Israeli intel has been following threats to Israeli interests in Bulgaria among other places - coming from Hizbullah/Iran. Whether that link is sustained is an open question based on the information released thus far.
