I’d say most people are not informed like we are and don’t like politics. And yet plenty of them didn’t vote for him. He got more coverage (even local) and live events on TV than anyone ever. I don’t mind you trying to see the best in folks as a general human rule, but sometimes it becomes a crutch for some ugly truths which helps them stay in the bubble you described.
