Bruce Sterling was - on one occasion - condescending and assumed my question and dismissed it. I told him - sharply - that he wasn’t listening. I never bought another of his books after that, at least partially because of that, but mostly because he got boring.

Hey, I got to stick up for my homeboy Bruce. An old friend. He is just horribly uncomfortable in public and a sweetheart one on one. You just have to understand that when he goes off on a tangent he’s just not in the room anymore.
