They say San Antonio is the capital of megachurches now, but Houston is the only one with a church previously used as the home of an NBA team. What was called the Summit from 1975-2000 was a great place for concerts, basketball and hockey games, etc. Now it’s where Joel Osteen saves souls and prints fat stacks of cash, not necessarily in that order.
