A very old good boy/girl discovered in Russia:
Discovered because of climate change. And so old that two rounds of genome sequencing can’t tell if it’s a dog or a wolf.
At that time, was there a clear divide between dogs and wolves? It would seem that the two species had not really separated then. After all, even today, they can interbreed and produce fertile offspring.
