Those kinds of things always tear me. This is especially true for online communities where you can’t so easily avoid certain people. If I like the place and most people, what do I do about the person spouting racist/misogynistic/ableist/homophobic/etc. crap that other people seem to be willing to tolerate? Do I just leave? Do I push back? Do I try to ignore it?
