Ron Paul’s youth appeal is an interesting phenomenon. I think much of the appeal is that he’s something different, a little unique. Lefty’s have had a stranglehold on youth appeal for quite some time. Musicians and movie stars help keep that advantage by making it “cool”. Old school, fat, white conservatives are unappealing to kids but, as Ron Paul demonstrates, you can tweak the message, repackage it, and it can appeal to younger people.
