The House can impeach, but impeach does not mean convicted. Clinton was impeached, the Senate just didn’t convict and remove him.
Separate issue.
Removal of members of Congress isn’t handled in same manner as impeachment.
Impeachment requires articles of impeachment by house and vote by Senate for removal. Impeachment applies to Executive and Judiciary.
Removal is handled in-chamber. House can vote to remove a Rep by 2/3 vote. Senate can vote to remove Senator by 2/3 vote.
