that race has often, especially here in the US, been the most common cause of exclusion! In some parts of the world the discrimination may be made on the basis of gender or religion, but race is pretty common.

That doesn’t follow logic.(unless of course circular reasoning is logic)

You’re basically saying It’s racist because it’s racist.

The argument in front of us is we should limit the right of free association because we don’t like someone’s views on race.

I find the idea toxic to the ideals of liberty as should any fair-minded person.

People who choose not to associate based on race only punish themselves and as long as they don’t violate the rights of others where is the problem?
