Sad. You want to create some real confusion? Tell them God made atheists too. How else did you get here?

I tend to be more a deist but still in study. And, I am always open for more knowledge about the whole damn thing, so I don’t criticize anyone for whatever they are. I just ask they keep an open mind for everyone and themselves.

I get honestly really confused with how religious zealots view God. Okay, God is apparently all knowing and powerful yet he can’t prevent someone from “choosing to be gay” or prevent things like the Holocaust but he will if your nation or state enacts gay friendly or choice friendly legislation, he’ll punish your state with natural disasters. Me? I’m comfortably agnostic. I don’t know if there is a God and honestly I don’t really care at this point. I want to live the best life I can and if there is a God, great, and an afterlfie, fine but I’m focused with the life I’ve been given here. I do not think of myself as beyond mortal but I do not let a man made construct define me either and force me to live in fear of retribution because I may have looked at porn, drank too much, listened to loud music (even though I’m not a metal fan), etc.
