True but you can’t blame them. They’re asked to push the envelope to keep us safe and when they do they’re threatened with jail time. Everyone thought it was wonderful when members of the CIA decided on their own to release information on secret holding facilities but now that the shoe is on the other foot they want to cry foul.

If you know of a potential terrorist and you are in the business of stopping terrorists and you don’t do anything to CYA then you can go fuck yourself. Why the hell are they receiving a salary if not to stop terrorists? If you can’t do your job because of your issues with the boss then quit but don’t lie to us and tell us you’re doing your job when you’re actually looking the other way.

This line of reasoning is total BS, IMHO.
