Creeped out? It utterly dumbfounds me. I’ve never understood the enormous role Israel plays in U.S. politics. I get that some folks have historical/religious ties to it, but to me, the only reason it seems to be such a huge issue is the bloc of Jewish voters in the country (used to hear about them in Florida when I was a kid, but I’m sure they’re significant in other areas).

I’ve got no problem supporting them (though it seems to be overboard at times), but that country has been politically dry-humped to the point of bleeding. Just don’t understand it.
