Tom blocked me on Twitter — as best as I can tell, for asking what happens on the set of Jeopardy! if one of the contestants nervously lets loose a gnarly SBD fart during Final Jeopardy! I mean, TV sets are notorious for not allowing fans or airflow of any sort, because the mics will pick up the noise. So do they just have to sit there and marinate in it, or what? Thomas Hobbes famously said, “Curiosity is the lust of the mind.” I was just curious.

Anyway, I wouldn’t say he “hates” us, but I would say he’s still a bit blinded by the particular set of filters he chooses to see the world through. But again aren’t we all. I didn’t see anything glaringly wrong in his article.

But I still want to know about the Jeopardy! thing.
