There is no Fairness Doctrine, by the way, and there is never going to be a return of the Fairness Doctrine. This is a completely bogus talking point the GOP yanks out of their trick bag every time they need to scare people.

I’ve been watching this stuff come up over and over and over, always brought up by the same people, and always a false alarm. It’s pure fearmongering.

I don’t think it’s possible to return to the fairness doctrine…but, haven’t there been some pretty prominent dems who have hinted or at least talked about their desire to have it back?…no?
