I think the other cops were fast to restrain him in part because they understand the recent past on video from cell phones. Some back from the cloud after the phone got files deleted in official custody. The public gets it everyone is fast to whip out the phones at an incident these days. Heck all they gotta do is look up from texting and hit the not a selfie camera icon.

It’s the presence of so many cameras that is beginning to level the playing field for the public in the fight for changes in law enforcement. It’s hard as hell for the defenders of the police to argue that there’s no problems when you’ve got videos like this, where a rage-fueled cop totally undoes the argument that all you have to do to avoid getting your ass beat by the cops is to obey them. You’ve got one cop who’s telling kids they shouldn’t run when cops show up, while his buddy is running around behind him, screaming at the kids he’s trying to have a frank discussion with to get on the ground.
