Something that has puzzled me for some time is how our Declaration of Independence states:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

and yet we have an Amendment to our Constitution that is now being abused by others to deprive innocent citizens of all three of those “unalienable Rights”. Does the Second Amendment supersede the rights granted us by the “Creator” that our Founding Fathers mention? Under the current interpretation of the Second Amendment, we have lost the right to “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”.

We are a sick nation and the party in control is the one that fed the infection that has made us this way.
