An HHS official tells @weijia that there will NOT be special efforts made to reunite children who have already been separated from their families bc of the Zero Tolerance Policy, despite Trumps EO. Process will proceed for minors currently in the unaccompanied children program.

i believe not making every (special? wtf how hard should it be) effort to reunite families already separated is magnitudes worse than ripping them apart in the first place

putting aside whether they in fact properly and accurately documented and tracked all the individuals - could they actually admit they didnt?

this would no longer be “policy” or the dems did it or anything else
its “we could do it instantly and just dont want to”
