I went and read the article referenced below - it would appear the Socialist Workers Party (they are Trotskyites who were expelled from the CPUSA in 1928 for failure to support Stalin) is backing Trump’s claims of supporting the working class.

After 1928 they then used Trotsky’s suggestion called the “French Turn” to join then subvert social democratic parties and take them from within, joining the US Socialist Party. They were expelled in 1936.

Now they seem to be supporting Trump over the Democrats, even using his terminology of a “witch hunt” to describe the investigations into his campaign.

Well aware of the SWP. The godfather of Neoconservatism, Max Shactman was one of the SWP founders, he broke away from them and went back into the Socialist Party which later became Social Democrats, USA which incubated the Neocon movement. Jeanne Kirkpatrck, Penn Kemble, Josh Muravchik, Jessica Smith, Elliot Abrams, Irving Kristol (Bill’s dad) and other Neocons then jumped over to the Reagan White House.
