Methodists and Unitarians are both heartily disliked by the wingnuts because they’re generally non-dogmatic and fairly liberal in a lot of ways. A lot of John Wesley’s writings are on helping the poor and a general rejection of the pre-ordained Calvinism dogma. (Which is the key to the prosperity gospel crap the wingnuts espouse so heavily as their justification for acting the way they do.)

I have to say between Presbyterianism, Methodism, & Baptists, the Methodists always seemed the most open minded and closest to what I grew up with as a nominal Catholic. No offense to anyone here Baptist or Presbyterian.
