Yeah. And to be honest 98% of the time that’s true.

My MacBook went in six times in eight months for the same problem. (Hard crash and reboot). Took two trips just to prove it was really happening, and even then it would have been a third if it hadn’t happened while the crew was demonstrating it was “fixed”. Then they looked at the fact I was the head computer guy for the library and had several hundred computers (desk, lap, and server) I was taking care of and decided maybe I did know what I was talking about.

Sorry. I like apples, but the hubris of apple personnel gets to me.

I’ve noticed that over the last few years, the Apple Store staff are a little less polite than they used to be.

When the stores first opened, I was really impressed with how easy going the staff came off. Much of it felt rehearsed, but it was never overbearing.

My last two trips were a different story. Definitely got a “We’re doing you a favor by even letting you in here” vibe. Not oppressive, but noticeable.
