I think it might be that the climate and soil here on the east coast is freaking perfect for tomatoes, because I keep hearing about people in other places having trouble with them, then I look outside at my neglected plants with 18,000 pounds of tomatoes on them, and I wonder what the hell is different between here and there.

My tomatoes & peppers had a great season so far. The rest of the garden got creamed by the hot, dry weather. I’m happy though…I’m about to have 2 batches of hot sauce made. I may do 2 more after that.
