To me, the big issue with the “electability” argument was that, depending upon which polls you chose to put faith in back in ‘16, Bernie had the “better” chance of winning against Trump than Hillary did.

Electability is a bullshit argument. Trump wasn’t electable, yet here we fucking are. In a traditional election (meaning no major third party/independent nominee/candidate), the Republican and Democratic nominees are by, definition, electable. They will each get at least 40% of the vote, even in blow outs. More likely they’ll get at least 45% of the vote.

And let’s be honest, you have to actively fuck up to get less than 45%.
