Named Black Friday IIRC. I just broke down and looked at my end of the year 401k statement I’ve had pigeon holed in my desk here at work. I was down 31% going into O taking the office which wasn’t as bad as I thought, problem is it’s probably dropped that much more since O took office. I’m honked, I should have bailed a year ago and bought gold. I’m stuck riding this thing out now I’m afraid.

Yes, that’s where we are. Just sitting on on the 401k, waiting for it to get better…might take ten years but we don’t need it right now.

What’s hard on people like us is that the massive amount of money being pumped out by the Fed is going to bring about inflation, and my husband’s whole company took an across-the-board pay cut. We know folks who took bigger ones. So now we have less money to pay for things that will cost more.
