Nobody in the Pentagon is dismissing the claims. Because the technology to do it is trivial. All they did was harden the warhead, put thrusters on it for inbound phase maneuverability and give it a mirror polish.

Keep in mind these are the same people who figured out decades ago how to make a supercavitating torpedo.

Trivial. And that’s the problem, it’s always going to be massively easier to defeat advances in anti-missile technology than to develop them.
